⊘ AGE GUIDELINES
- Wearable Mode: Not intended for infants under 2 months of age
- Device Mode: Designed for babies 0-12 months
- Not intended for children over 12 months of age or children who can release their own harness or undo the snaps. Discontinue use if either of these instances occur.
⛔ NOT A RESTRAINT
Never use this product as a restraint device or to secure your child. The StayBetter Blanket is a wearable/attachable blanket, not a safety harness or restraint system.

Always ensure the blanket does not cover your child's face, nose, or mouth at any time during use.
🔍 INSPECT BEFORE EACH USE
Check all snaps, straps, stitching, and fabric before every use. Do not use if any snaps are loose, stitching is damaged, or fabric is torn or worn.
✓ DISCONTINUE IF DAMAGED
Stop using immediately if any snaps, stitching, or fabric become loose or damaged. Do not repair and continue using; contact us regarding damage and provide images please!
⚙ FOLLOW MANUFACTURER INSTRUCTIONS
Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for any stroller, wagon, swing, bouncer, baby carrier, or other product used with The StayBetter Blanket. Ensure compatibility and proper attachment.
🔧 USE DESIGNATED SNAPS ONLY
Only use the snaps and attachment points as instructed for each mode(See 'How to Use' Page on this website). Using snaps incorrectly or in undesignated locations may compromise safety.
📏 SIZE & DEVELOPMENT LIMITS
Not intended for children over 12 months of age or for children who can independently release their own harness or climb out of carriers/devices. If your child has exceeded sizing limits, discontinue use immediately.
⚠ DO NOT USE ON UNSAFE PRODUCTS
Not intended for use with wagons without designated seating and a securable harness or lap belt. Do not use on any product that does not have proper safety restraints or any product without the proper structure to use the blanket as intended.
⚙ DO NOT INTERFERE WITH OPERATION
Ensure the blanket does not interfere with the operation of the product it is attached to or obstruct moving parts. Check clearance on all sides before each use.
⊙ CRISS-CROSS STRAP LINKAGE
The criss-cross back snap mechanically links both shoulder straps together. This prevents independent strap over-tightening and ensures balanced pressure distribution. Do not attempt to separate the criss-cross snap or modify this safety feature.
🔐 DEVICE-MODE BUNDLING SYSTEM
When using in device mode (stroller, bouncer, wagon, etc.), always secure excess strap length using the device-mode bundling system:
- Wrap excess strap with the twill tape bundle (Version 3.0)
- Snap the designated device-mode snaps to secure the bundled strap to the blanket body
- Verify all snaps are securely fastened before placing baby in device
- No dangling straps should be visible when properly secured in device mode

DUAL-MODE OPERATION SAFETY NOTES

WEARABLE MODE (Caregiver-worn)
- For lap use only. Caregiver must be in a seated position
- Straps must be secure but not too tight. Should not leave marks on shoulders
- Straps, when secured, should not be able to be pulled above ear or down past the elbow of the baby.
- Criss-cross strap linkage is active in this mode (safety feature)
- Caregiver must maintain visual contact with baby at all times
- Baby's face and airway must remain uncovered and visible at all times
DEVICE MODE (Stroller, Wagon, Swing, Bouncer, Carrier)
- Do not loosen or adjust the blanket while baby is in the device
- Excess strap must be secured using device-mode bundling system (twill tape + snaps)
- Verify all snaps are fastened before placing baby in device
- Ensure blanket does not interfere with device's restraint system or safety features
- Follow the device manufacturer's safety instructions in addition to these warnings
- Check blanket positioning before and during use; do not allow blanket to shift
- For strollers: Ensure blanket does not obstruct wheel movement or device operation
- For swings/bouncers: Verify blanket does not interfere with swing/bounce motion or electrical components
- For carriers/backpacks: Keep face and airway completely clear; do not allow fabric to cover baby's head

SIZING INFORMATION

StayBetter Blanket 3.0 has been engineered to fit a wider range of baby sizes (0-12 months). Strap sizing has been optimized based on extensive real-world testing.
If your blanket does not fit comfortably in wearable mode:
- Verify you are using the blanket correctly (see "How to Use" instructions)
- Check that straps are not twisted or bunched
- Ensure criss-cross back snap is fastened
- If sizing still does not work for your baby, contact us immediately at [EMAIL]

BEFORE EACH USE - SAFETY CHECKLIST

☑ Inspect all snaps, stitching, and fabric for damage or looseness
☑ Verify all straps are securely fastened to the blanket
☑ Ensure criss-cross back snap is properly snapped (wearable mode)
☑ Confirm device-mode snaps are secured if using in device mode
☑ Ensure your child's face and airway remain uncovered
☑ Verify the blanket does not interfere with the operation of the seating device or carrier
☑ Confirm adult supervision is present at all times
☑ Check that blanket positioning is correct and secure

If possible, upgrade your blanket to the 3.0 Version!
2.0 Blankets, when in wearable mode, have excess strap that could be a danger to infant. When in wearable mode, please secure excess strap length to the outer-most snap on the blanket body via snaps. This secures the excess strap so the excess length hazard is mitigated.
Wearable mode is not designed for infants under 2 months of age, or infants over 12 months of age. If your child can undo their harness or undo the snaps of the blanket, discontinue use immediately.
If, in "wearable mode", the adjustments do not allow a proper fit, please reach out to us immediately via email: calmpalmeganp@gmail.com. We have made a size adjustment to 3.0 versions to better fit a wider range of babies and want to make sure you have a blanket that fits correctly.
In "wearable mode" blanket straps should not be able to be pulled up past baby's ears or down past baby's elbow to ensure proper and safe fitment.
In "device mode" ensure excess strap length is on the outside of the product being attached to(stroller, swing, bouncer, etc) to ensure baby can not get tangled in it. Also ensure excess strap does not interfere with the operation of the product being used.
